 Recoland was established in Melbourne in 1999 by director Michael Gitsham.
Recoland started working on indigenous revegetation projects including the creation of habitat corridors for wildlife on large private properties and golf courses.
Over the last 11 years Recoland has grown to be one of the largest contractors in it's area of expertise. It has completed many large government, semi-government and private projects.
At Recoland we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality. We have a strong business focus, with a desire to build relationships with our clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. We have extensive knowledge and experience of the local environmental and landscape conditions and indigenous species.

Environment
Founder Michael Gitsham has had a fascination with native fauna and flora since childhood. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, with both formal training and practical, hands-on experience, in the conservation and reclamation of native vegetation.
Michael has gathered around him a team of people who share his passion for the environment and who are experts in their field.
While we have a deep commitment to caring for the natural environment we also understand the complexity of project specifications. If we tender for a job we make a commitment to carry out the conditions of the contract in its entirety for our client. We do not have a political or environmental agenda to push, just a commitment to project delivery.
Our commitment to the environment is also enhanced by the company's Environmental Management system that is internally audited to meet the requirements of ISO14001.
