We pride ourselves on focusing on the contract and getting the job done on budget and on time. We are known for our attention to detail, ensuring that every “i” is dotted and “t” is crossed.
If it is appropriatee, we also look outside the box. We look for common sense practical ways to solve problems and overcome logistical obstacles. Being in the business for over 10 years, has taught us how to avoid the pitfalls and leverage our experience to our clients advantage. We look intelligently at a process and often find better ways to provide an end result that will save our clients valuable time and money.
We has a wealth of knowledge to assist architects, engineers and project managers find practical solutions for the natural and constructed landscape. We can provide logistical and financial analyses for projects at tender time. We want our projects to be the proof of the care and commitment with investment in each job.
Environment
Our genesis was a love of the natural world. Founder Michael Gitsham has had a fascination with native fauna and flora since childhood. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge with both formal training and practical hands-on experience, in the conservation and reclamation of native vegetation.
Michael has gathered around him a team of people who share his passion for the environment and who are experts in their field. For most of our staff, Recoland is more than a workplace; its is a life choice.
While we have a deep commitment to caring for the natural environment we also understand the complexity of project specifications. If we tender for a job we make a commitment to carry out the conditions of the contract in its entirety for our client. We do not have a political or environmental agenda to push, just a commitment to project delivery.
Our commitment to the environment is also enhanced by the company’s Environmental Management system that is internally audited to meet the requirements of ISO14001.
 Our Team
It is important to us that Recoland is a great place to work. We have worked hard to employ the best people and we plan to keep them. That way we can provide continuity and stability to our project delivery. We pride ourselves on having a productive and specialised team of workers.
We provide flexible supportive working conditions for our staff and pay well above award wages. We are constantly assessing our skill needs and our staff's aspiration to evaluate a training schedule. All our staff are encouraged to contribute to project delivery with ideas and suggestion that will contribute to a harmonious workplace.
Safety
Safety is our starting point. We have a detailed OHS safety system that fully meets the requirements of workplace government regulations. We have policies and systems in place and provide ongoing training in order to provide the safest possible work sites.
