Our Core Principles

Community

The essential principle that remains the heart of our operations at Recoland is supporting our surrounding community. We do this by embracing the opportunities we are given to integrate the many skills of our diverse and multifaceted society into our workforce. We achieve this objective through our our policies of:

  • Employment of First Nations people

  • Employment of First Generation Migrants

  • Reinforcement of safety and wellbeing for women in the workplace

  • Support for disadvantaged Victorians through social procurement

  • Assistance for training and apprenticeships

Quality and Safety

Striving for a inclusive, safe and constructive space for workers is a primary focus for Recoland. By ensuring that our workers are safe, supported and well trained, we are able to create a nurturing and efficient work environment that allows all of our employees to flourish.

Sustainability and Environment

With a focus on native vegetation, urban greening and Australian landscapes, being at the centre of our operations, contributing our part to ensure that the environment is protected and thrives is a vital component of Recoland’s work. We also encourage all our staff to recycle and reduce their carbon footprint via a self-performed Environmental Management System in line with ISO14001. This also incorporates chemical handling and usage and indigenous vegetation protection.
